Joanna Kambourian is a graphic designer, printmaker & casual lecturer in Printmaking at Southern Cross University.
An enthusiastic emerging artist, Joanna has exhibited work both here in Australia, New York City and in the UK.
She spent some time at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn on exchange during the course of her studies and on return established the studio “Ms Browns Lounge”.
Joanna was a recent Australia Council for the Arts, ARTstart grant recipient and through this opportunity she was able to hire and help develop, manage & facilitate the LISMORE ART SPACE studios in Lismore NSW.
The art space currently has 5 other artists, working out of their own studios in various disciplines. An Artist Collective is in the pipeline and many projects are planned for 2012/13 including the launch of msbrownsPRESS and other collaborative and public art projects. Services Joanna offers include Graphic Design for print, Web Design, Traditional Book Binding and custom Screen Printing. She also runs workshops in Zines, Traditional Book Binding, Design, Screen Printing as well as in Self Promotion, Professional Practice, Social networking and Marketing skills for Artists.
