Ms Brown sent some hand painted paste-ups for the 4th Pastemodernism Exhibition/Event curated by Ben Frost, in Sydney.


I made a series of Pin-up Cat Women done in acrylic paint on blank wallpaper (which incidentally I reckon is the best medium for paste-ups…uhm der, but anyway!)


Luckily I also happened to be in Sydney for the opening too. Here’s some pics!

The exhibition features the wheat-pasted creations of over 400 artists from around the world. Artists’ submissions were applied in every square inch of the walls of the gallery to create a multi-layered explosion of colour, imagery and social/political explorations.


Curated by Ben Frost the exhibition features the work of international and local artist such as: Felipe Pantone, Ben Eine, Pure Evil, Buff Monster, Anthony Lister, Copyright, Reka, Bigfoot, Jeremyville, Nosego, My Dog Sighs, Greg Mike, Remi Rough, Beastman, Numskull, Twoone, Skull Cap, SMC3, Makatron, Bridge Stehli, HA-HA, Taylor White, Apeseven, Phoenix, Gimiks Born, Camo, Denial + many more.
